New Echinacea, but no name ! Any ideas !

Lovely Rose....I will google it. I have lots of pink ones but my white didn't winter well. I like the yellow.

I really like these and I hope it does well for you.

We had one and it didn't do well for us! In fact it has been a very strange year in our garden with lots of disappointments.

No I haven't Rose..do think that's the best idea ?both they and the Heleniums failed miserably in my long border :o(

Is your soil well drained Sandra, because they like to be dry! If you haven't then try pots next year and don't water them too much !

It is very well drained,Rose..and also quite dry..that's one of the reasons I bought them,as I thought they would do well..I wonder if they have any nasties that like them,or go for the roots?I never saw them again after the first year..

Well Sandra...that's a mystery ! I often ignore mine and they still go on flowering !

If I try again,Rose,I will ignore them then,like you ! Lol

I cover mine with a cloche to cut down with the rain over the winter and it works for me.

Have a look at E. Green Jewel on the Crocus website. It looks similar. I saw a similar one somewhere recently but could not think of the name of the plant to look it up.

A nice gentle yellow colour .. lovely.

I have an Echinacea....it comes up every year with one solitary flower on a stem of about 6". That's all! :) Your lemony one is gorgeous though.
