Are these where your conifer hedge was Amy?

Not far off Janey we have a large flower bed in front of where the conifers were and are in the process of trying to cut out some work by putting shrubs in the bed they are all quite small at the moment which means we have the flowers and shrubs mixed until the shrubs grow .

Our Yew tree is at the back of the border and was here when we came and it is HUGE ! We have to look into getting it cut back before it gets any bigger !

I'm guessing we will be long gone before that happens here Rose , have you been to Painswick churchyard in the Cotswolds ,it's worth Googling they have 99 yew trees all kept in trim ,they planted 100 apparently the Devil spat on the last one killing it !!
