Moraea polystachya

This reminds me of Louisiana Water Iris. Is there a relation?

While they are both in the same family and tribe, they are different genus and species. The Moraea are South African and like gardens with a dry season (summer) and winters that are mostly above 50°F. To get the temperature swings that help germination, I bring the seeds in during the day and put them out at night.
