Thanks all, we have another variety on the verge, hoping by the end of the week we shall have some blooms out...

Delicate colouring, very pretty. How will you protect it from frost?

GF it is in a sheltered part of the garden with other plants around it, so I am hoping that will be enough to protect them, we have overwintered other Australian shrubs successfully, if very severe some extra thick fleece will be used!!???

The leaves(foliage to the purist) look a bit African violet with the shine of Jade? What are they really like. Do you mean fleece fabric? and then do you remove it when the severe weather stops. I am just wondering if that would work in Vermont???

Wells the leaves are very small and felt like.....Fleece fabric is exactly what I mean, if the weather is severe it would stay on until it clears, taken off on good days, a pain I know!! there are several varieties, perhaps some hardier than others.......if these survive I buy some more...
