Amy have you not seen the fisherman before he has a very realistic goldfish on the end of his line that has fooled a few sad souls .

Lovely display of Autumnal colour. The Acers have been super this year. My ones have lost their leaves all of a sudden. The broom comes to mind....perhaps when it's not raining!!!

I have two massive conker trees and they dropped most of there leaves in the last few days, what a mess.

Hope your conker trees haven't got that moth. Apparently it has affected a lot of horse chestnut trees.

Lindak
afraid they have it has spread widely in the west, seems to be worse after two mild winters they seem to be thriving, was looking at some old Oak in the woods and they had markings very similar, worrying.
I dread to think of the cost if they had to be felled.

Perhaps it would help to eradicate the problem if people swept the leaves up and burned them.

Not sure where they hibernate would think it more likely on the branches as the leaves break down and rot during the winter.

Tender, the leaves so quiet and the color so soft. Envy you.
