For my records, another new fern for the wood.

Willie, the sword fern is a real problem on our property. I am pulling hundreds every year from places I really do not want them. Some are taller than me.
You do not have problems with ferns in your area, Simbad?

I'd love it if a few popped up in mine Wylie but then again they aren't invasive here probably change my mind if they were!
No no problems here Klahanie I have quite a few ferns and only ones ever self seeded.

Can't wait Amy I'm really loving the ferns at the moment think they get a bit overlooked in the summer when there are lots of flowers :-)

This is another one I have growing in my woods. There are 5 or 6 types that started growing after the new road was built, and only one that I really don't like (a sword type that is seriously invasive).
