This is one of the smaller Royal Poinciana trees planted a couple of years ago at the San Diego Zoo. There's two very large trees which were planted in 1992. Photo taken Nov. 21, 2015.

This one has gotten big in two year. They need for it to develop one main trunk for it to grow it's umbrella-shaped tree structure. It's probably about 9 or 10' tall. It has a lot of new leaves still growing
My small Delonix regia is loosing its leaves, also. It has some new leaves growing at the same time.
