African tulip tree- Spathodea campanulata

It's a beautiful specimen. They're still blooming here, also.

My tree has bloomed continuously for almost 3 years. This is a record, I think...because it usually goes semi-dormant in late December or January.

Lucky you. They are beautiful trees.

I know...I'm still trying to figure out why it's blooming so continuous. It doesn't seem to be weakening the tree, either. Some trees when flowering continuous for a long time (when they should have a resting period) weaken and possibly die.
