Cooler weather causes leaves to turn crimson red. They go back to green in the spring. Classified as a rebloomer with large, red long lasting ruffled blooms. An excellent performer & virtually maintenance free for partial sun/shade.

Wow! Very bright leaves. Your soil looks great! I wish I had soil like that in my yard.

I bet. The soil looks very fertile and soft. The soil here is like concrete! The soil in my yard is rocky, also. I can't even drive a stake into the ground. It's amazing any plant/tree can grow at all.
