Yes Thorneyside, they do celebrate Tres Reyes, as the matter of fact they celebrate something any day. If there is nothing to celebrate...they will invent it. LOL. Happy culture. Fiestas on all the time.
They are poinsettias ...hundreds of them(if not thousands) This is only little portion of the street strip.

A bit like the Canarian people then for fiestas. When I lived there I lost count of the Saints for which there was a holiday but my favourite time was Carnival which would start in Puerto de la Cruz and then come down to Los Cristianos where I lived. They certainly know how to party!!

Like a nice summer day in Santa Barbara. Except for the Poinsttia's. I think in summer they use Cockscomb...Amaranth? Something like that.
I'm going to have to make a note of this pic Klahanie..we have a downtown church, with a bit of the Mission look. Only It will not be 80f..more like 60f.

Very Christmassy ! Do they celebrate Reyes on 6th January in Mexico? They look like plantings of Salvia 'Blaze of Fire' in summer here. Are they poinsettia Klahanie?
