Ribes Elkingtons white......wow so early!!

Ribes Elkingtons white......wow so early!! (Ribes sanguineum Elkington's White.)

Although the leaves are tatty, we have several flowers developing.... found in our county organisers garden and named after her (Patricia Elkington)

Oh, I really look forward to my white Ribes this year. But not yet please...the frosts would come and kill the flowers, or the heavy rain would come and wash them all to mush. I hope yours does ok. I do have the beginnings of some blossom on Prunus Sub. Autumnalis, but only just starting...so everything is pretty much at it's usual time up here.

Amy this one is way ahead of our other variety, I think the warm weather lulled into thinking it was Spring!!
