They look a bit like lotus flowers!
The whole thing reminds me of deco you often see in Bali. Love it!

Great aren;t they? and I was told that if you want them as cut flowers floating the heads is the only way it works! I've never actually tried using them as cut flowers so haven't tested that one.

They are hellebores NAT, same family as Christmas Roses but rather later flowering and less fussy. This is a collection of the many different varieties they grow at the nursery that was running the event. The display is just flower heads floating in water, as you probably guessed!The great thing about them is that they flower really really early. They prefer a semi shady spot.
