Comparing this to a wild primrose....amazing what can be produced.

I have it in the garden as well but the flowers are rotting with all the rain would not rate it a good garden plant where there is large rainfall
Karen that is what I call red ,they have some way to go with the hellebores,although I do have one nearer to red than the Harvington one. I wonder if they are growing them from seed as I have a Harvington double yellow and don't rate that as a very good yellow.

Yes, my experience of these in the ground is poor. I had a peachy one and it wasnt good at all the next year. The colour was poor as well. But this really is red Brian..like red velvet!

That is beautiful primula Bjs. Will have to look for that. I have Belarina in pale yellow.
