That's a nice welcome home. Do you discard the Skimmia and Euonymus eventually or find somewhere to plant them in the garden?

Sue the Skimmia has been in that pot for several years and never grows much. It probably needs fresh compost.
The Euonymus is already in the ground, but the two box bushes are in pots and also need fresh compost.
If a plant gets too big for the pot it's in, I usually put it in a bigger pot or plant it in the ground.

Looking very colourful Hywel, Magic Marlot is one of my favourite Skimmias, keep meaning to buy another one, it keeps its shape and is very slow growing compared to our other Skimmias...

I remember you starting this area near the front door Hywel ,it looks very pretty I'm sure it attracts a lot of attention from envious passing neighbours x
