Looks good Dd. I painted all 12 of my Terracotta tubs, with some spare black tanking paint, to stop the frosty water cracking them any further. Took me ages. And to dry.

I managed nearly two hours outside (in five thick layers of clothes) this afternoon. Really pleased with myself.

Well done you, I hate working all togged up, it makes gardening so uncomfortable, we cannot plant because it is too cold at night, also no sign of rain to help new plants establish, so all the plants are becoming leggy, still, that is gardening!! hoping for a change soon, you open quite early dont you Andrew?

What a great job! Going to look for the plant now. I can't belive it's really cold there Angela, I've been raking in my cotton sweater today and nearly went in to put a T-Shirt on! If I weren't full of a head cold....chilly in the shade though.

Thanks ladies, it helps if the pots whether they be plastic or terracotta have some kind of pattern or moulding on them!, I used three colours on that one, then rubbed it down with sandpaper, to get the desired effect.........

Looks really Good, Dd. Now we're all waiting to see what goes in it. No coat weather here today, but it's not going to last over the week end they say.
