I saw Bloomer's lovely Erysimum yesterday on here and decided that I too would like one!
I found it in the garden centre today and was so pleased.
Now Bloomer, no more showing me pretty things that I haven't got!

I had one too, but it didn't do too well over the winter and ended up looking very leggy and woody, so sorry it had to go. Now you've made me want another one...see Bloomer isn't the only one who can make people envious lol!

Don't bank on it Sheila and Waddy ours will probably end up leggy and woody or worse!!
I shall try to nurture it I promise!

That's the problem with perennial wallflowers, you need to take cuttings to replace the woody ones. Think I have missed the boat with my plant.

cuttings from it are so easy you should never be without it again

Agree with Bjs - So easy a four-year old could take cuttings!

I am assuming this is Bowles Mauve, a great plant, and does what it says on the can.......

Cutting?...ah well that's me out then...

I will take some cuttings, thanks for the advice, I would like to have one or two more.
Waddy you might be able to find a stem that isn't woody, hope so.
