That is a very professional looking label. Is it metal?

No, klahanie, it is the plastic one with which it came with a picture of the plant and a 'reduced 50p' stuck on it, so cut the top off. Doesn't look so cheap now.

I have this bronze Leptinella in between flagstones (patio). It spreds very rapidly in our climate. I think it is quite "elegant" looking ground cover.

I agree, Klahanie, I won't mind if it spreads between the edging bricks.

Khahanie, does it not mind being trodden on, if it is on flagstones. I assume you walk there?

It is in between flagstones and it handles foot traffic very well. It is very vigorous.

Think I will put some between the patio flagstones. Thank you for the information, Klahanie

I had it last year in a shallow sink with other small rockery plants, it's done so well and spread so much that I wondered if I could divide it and plant in between stones. It's good to know it can take foot traffic, thanks Klahanie.

Resi, I have already put some between the paving slabs, just eased some runners away from the mother plant, then squashed it between the slabs.

Well done Siris, I will start on my trough plants next week. Off to centrepark with my daughter and family tomorrow.
I love the shape and the fact that those bronze leaves look good all year...and hopefully will stop weeds settling in all those cracks. Btw my other crack filler plant is Sagina or Green (or Irish or Scottish) moss, another unstoppable but easily eradicated if needed plant.

Have a pleasant day, Resi. I am always clearing moss from the brick paving drive, where it looks unkempt. Think will give the moss a miss at present.
