This shrub looks dreadful in the spring, but luckily recovers by the end of May.....

Oh, how I echo that sentiment! I sometimes get an urge to rip my two out!

It's odd how these Escallonia do not like the winter weather...yet thankfully they do recover, although it does take a few weeks.
