Love the foliage ,do you prune your Acer Crimson King Dawn ? we've never touched ours its huge , I'm not even sure how you would go about pruning it !

Hi Amy, it needs doing, we have done it in the past.John keeps the drummondii in check, but we were saying today, crimson king needs bringing down in size, I googled and dead of winter is the best time as acers bleed.

I Didn't know that Dawn We've only ever trimmed the lower Branches off I'm afraid its far to big to tackle now ... Its a good job I like it as it is ...

Around 12 years Julia, although they were quite established when we bought them, say 6 feet tall. We have 6 here, opposite each other.
