Classed as alpine you could say a european version of the African violet a close look and you can see the likeness it is related but fully hardy

They are beautiful plants.

Andrew have seen this one completely curl inwards and shrivel up in excess heat ,give it a good drink and it is back to normal in two days,wonder if you thought it was dead last summer.

No, it seemed happy right the way through last year, but no sign of it now.

So pretty do slugs like these.
