Tall Bearded Iris - a highly scented blue.

Forgot to include this Iris, when it first opened a couple of weeks ago. A nicely shaped Blue with a strong perfume. From my Sister in Law.

No Dd, the one by the front door is Jane Philips, this is in the same border but too far back for its height.

This one is flowering Siris as you say a wonderful scent , I'll try to remember to take a picture later, huge flowers !

Excellent, Simbad, not so tall as Jane Phillips, but nicer shaped flower, and I think the scent is more intense. I'm going to remove the clump of Jane Phillips by the front door and replace with this, when I can get to it.

(of a plant) blooming or producing a crop more than once a season.

Yes Gnarly, this one(unknown name, hence 'Scented Blue') has a bud about to open, probably next week (October). I don't expect the scent will be so noticeable in the cold.
