I keep wanting to spell it Sixteen!!!! Only amended it in my garden section the other day and still spelt it wrong, corrected now ;-)
She was nearly beheaded Siris, Rob was cutting the grass and as he got near it I ran up behind him to point out the flower opening ,he never notices new things in the garden, I made him jump and he swung the mower just missing it !!!!!!

I wonder what 'Sixtine'means, it was a French breeder. Have you got more to come? What about the orphan? We still don't know which of the 2 it's going to be. If it is Attention Please I would have thought it would have flowered by now, OH won't miss seeing that one.

I just looked up Sixtine for you in my big French diccie - it means Sistine, as in Sistine Chapel.

Yes Stera, I did too, but it is also about the 350 th most popular girls name in France. I have never hear someone called that or the male version Sixtus.

Its an odd name for a girl, with the x in it. It would sound more French spelled Sistine wouldn't it? I can remember Sixtus as a man's name from old school Latin lessons and Google says there was a Pope Sixtus too. None of that explains why an Iris would be called Sixtene though!

No that looks like it for this year Siris , I do have a few of my older ones flowering I haven't posted pictures of but no more of yours with buds, they all look good though, orphans a good size, I have all the others to look forward to next year :-)
