Oh no this definitely doesn't look like mine Lori , the falls on mine are much narrower and longer, yours is lovely :-)
How tall is it ?

Its so beautiful. It took ages to get going in my last garden. I left it there. Must get one for here!

They took to the stream-side right away...but are later to blossom than the other sibs. The colouring on mine is very soft and muted, not nearly as defined as yours, Simbad. I noticed that yours and Andrewr's are identical. I often wonder about the nurseries over here... things which are supposed to be a certain variety are quite different from what I've seen on GoY...(England, et al) or they are completely mislabeled, here. Have bought some plants that were supposed to be red...and they were white! This adds some light to the garden and it's welcome as my planting is dispersed. A few more years and things will thicken up. Next year will be division time.
Their time is short but glorious, Karen. I'm constantly reminded of the plants I left behind.

I cant help think back to you're winter posts Lori. Nice to see you can enjoy the summer blossoms.

thankyou, Stan! our summers are short by California standards!
OOPS! Apologies to Simbad. It is not as tall as the blue sibs..about 24 inches tall, I would guess. The clumps I divided for the plant swap meet are not yet in full bloom...but without the setback the pictured clump is doing very well this season... lots of blossom.

Karen: which did yours favour? maybe it's a N.A. vs. U.K. thing? I promise, mine were from a reputable source...but have had these name controversies with other plants too... roses most recently. sounds like something for google.
