Maurandya barclayana, a tender perennial climber, over wintered in the sunny front garden. From seed from Simbad, so impressed bought M. Magic Dragon, rather bigger plant, larger leaves.

Simbad, this one remained in the ground overwinter, almost evergreen, now it is a picture, up to the gutter on the sunny front of the bungalow, absolutely covered in flowers. Now Magic Dragon is flowering, a deep pinky colour, which looks super growing though a pale blue Clematis. Remains to be seen if Magic Dragon lasts the winter out doors, too.
