Wells It is one i have kept going for 8/9 years by sowing fresh lots of seed every three years originally from a packet of seed , does about three years in containers then becomes very woody I use them as spot plants, if I had lighter soil and less shade sure they would be good in the garden.
Have tried other Rudbeckia in the garden they get drawn bad and bend over.

I am so glad to get the name, Irish Mist. Always looking for colors beside oranges that work with them...Like the reddishcolor. I have some purple Liatris, but that doesn't last too long.
