I cannot get H. macrophylla to flower in my garden, tried and tried but I've since discovered Paniculata will and there are quite a few nice varieties.

Nice one Sandra, beautiful arent they. I love the huge blue ones but they don't like me so now I've discovered this variety its a happy compromise.

I have H petiolaris, its taken a while but really took off these last 2 yrs.

Love hydrangea ....so many new vatieies around..I bought a couple last year waiting for them to flower now.
