Fuchsia, Checkerboard

I bought my first fuchsia in many years Hywel. it's a tiny thing and with the drought it's not doing too great.... they are all so pretty though. enjoy your pics every year.

Have you ever grown a Standard from a cutting Hywel? In my dim and distant past... ;o) I was into "trying" to grow a standard or Half standard - I remember that Checkerboard was a good one to try with...

Hi Tracey, I have in the past grown standards but I haven't got them any more. I hope to grow a few again some day :) I agree that Checkerboard is a good one for a standard.

This is lovely, as said before, always loved fuchsias but looking through your photos is a real education on the different ones out there.
