Bought one very expensive bulb many years ago! It had beautiful green leaves for many years but no flowers! It has since become established and I've been rewarded with plenty of flowers this year... ;o)

Thanks very much Neena. I first saw these flowers when I was working in the shop in Canterbury. They make excellent and unusual cut flowers!

What is it? Looks like a nasturtium but not this late in the year.
Okay, I finally saw the heading on your post. It's a Eucharis but I still don't know it. Very pretty though.

Hi Arbuthnot, The first time I ever saw an Eucharis Lily, was when I was working in a florists in Canterbury. It came in as cut flowers! My employer and I thought they were absolutely beautiful as an unusual cut flower. Then I found that you can grow them from a bulb... I bought a couple, and found that they took a while to become established... But I think it was well worth the wait... ;o)
