I've had them about 20 years growing in a tub with a Campsis, which I might add has never had a single flower, EVER. (I think it has to go). I have babies too that just grow anywhere.

Now, that you mentioned Campsis , Thorneyside.....I do not see it here in garden centers although, we are living in zone 8.
It looks very exotic.

Such a pretty flowering lily! I love all species of lilies.

I have the large tropical ones growing in the back and front yards. The flowers are very fragrant. Does this one have fragrant flowers?

No it does not Delonix1. But it gives a tropical feel to my patio garden and flowers are long-lasting. I like the leaves as well.
It is grown as house plant here. I think they need minimum 10 deg C and we have around 5 deg during our winters and it can dip to 0 deg or even below. So, it will have to come in in winter.

I didn't know it had a fragrance. I've seen then growing outside here...never had one, though.

I grow the true pineapple outside, though. It has to be grown in a pot at my place (even though I see people have them growing outside very well, in the ground). My plants' roots are always eaten by bugs.

Mine have always been outside, and that includes the winter a few years ago where it was below freezing every day for a few weeks.

It is good to know Thorneyside. I only know what I read about it. Have no experience with it.
