The is an unusual weather pattern that is bringing dust from the Sahara Desert, so here is the sun, without filters. On the right is Graciosa and is taken from my backyard.

Last night there was just a touch of mist, and everyone now have dirty cars. I lived in San Diego, California; and the Santa Ana's came from Death Valley.

This is the channel that Hurricane Alex went through in January. The last one passed just north of Graciosa.

Beautiful Wylie. I can almost see the shadow of E.T. passing by. I remember when I lived in Tenerife the scirocco wind which brought dust and sand from the Sahara. Like a hairdryer blowing at you and it played havoc with my asthma too.
