Every year in August we have the famous Cowes week, and on the last night there is a large fireworks display......so those of us who do not live on the Island.....sit on the sea wall and watch (five miles as the gulls fly!!) this year it was a beautiful night, and so clear, you can actually hear the fireworks, so I took my camera, and created a collage.....

Cowes week, that takes us back DD. Living on the IOW in the 1960's 70's 80's we sometimes went to see the fireworks. I can remember a very long time ago that the tall ships came in and lit up all their sails.
