One of my co-workers enjoying a revivifying snack of honey. It was clinging to OH's jacket and didn't move when he placed it on the table. It's certainly gorging - it's been there several minutes.

I find a small blob of honey from a squeezy bottle always does the trick. This fellow really filled up on it! He gradually got perkier and perkier and then flew away!

You're certainly adept with the camera, Mel.

Thank you, Arbuthnot. I used the iPad, which I find easier than an ordinary camera. Very straightforward to upload, as well.

An iPad is next on my wish list. Maybe in the Jan sales.

I always help the bees with some honey. I used to keep bees. Had two hives, so don't mind handling them.

It's great to see them recover and fly off, Lindak. They need all the help they can get.

Terrible in South Carolina where they've sprayed the mosquitos because of Zika virus spreading, and they've killed millions of bees. Surely if they had warned the bee keepers, they could have taped the hives up at dusk and they could have sprayed then when the bees weren't flying.

That is dreadful. And they have a huge problem with falling bee numbers in the US!

Great - it doesn't take long to revive them when you give them a drop of the sweet stuff! And we need everybee we can get.
