Re-blooming, but no double :-(
Comments on this photo
It is new this year and when I bought it it was full of single flowers. That is why I expected double. Oh well, maybe in the spring.
I would love to see my Montana bloom at this time. Do you fertilize it Gg?

Hi
Come the spring you will have .
Yes they all get fed in late March the spring bloomers and the others in mid/ late April, blood fish & bone. Or I use a good rose granular fertiliser , and just before the blooms open a spay with seaweed fertiliser half strength all over the plant , they look so healthy within 3 days and I find it helps stop any mildew.
But no feed after that just a good drink.
Josephine a good double, also have grown but in another garden " Avant Garde' "Blue Light" and to finish I think the best white available " Artic Queen"
something to look at ...

Thanks for all that good info Gg. I will look at the ones you've mentioned. Lately, I've developed a love for clematis.

I thought only double in the spring and then the 2nd flush all single with this variety ?
My Montana has decided to tease me with several flowers totally out of season
