The Red Helenium is from Simbad and the yellow plant is from seed from the red.

beautiful how clever to grow them from seeds, love the yellow very much, love them both but like yellows in the border.

I took out my orange helenium last week. I have gone right off it. I still have my yellow one though. :) These are both lovely.

Think I like the reddy/brown the best, looks like conkers with wings.

I need to collect seed this year mine have been overtaken a bit by a cross of this and autumn lollipop which aren't as nice, lots of flowers and over 6ft tall but small flowers so they're all coming out and I'm going to grow some more from seed collected in an area away from them!!
