Hi Shirley
Yes great as cut flowers , not that you would have that opportunity with mine lol
The "Indian summer" and " Summer breeze" still in flower so for a small garden you get your ££ worth I will add a $ for Bathgate

I used to buy her Pinks, or sometimes Roses, but they just don't last long enough, unlike the Alstroemerias.

OBW , now and again a new plant comes out and this hard to beat , so glad yours is doing well I have decided all three pots to be kept in the greenhouse over winter , still havnt tried any in the border yet.
I have managed to grow another small pot from the swollen tubers another benefit of growing in pots as the best swollen roots to use are at the bottom so easily picked out and potted on without disturbing the main plant , which is coming along nicely.
Photo of your please

Yes, mine is still flowerng too. I pulled all the spent stems this week and it looks much better for it. The red is spectacular with the fabulous foliage backdrop. Its a smasher. I shall be moving mine in to the greenhouse very soon as ts getting colder at noght here now, and they go on flowering almost all year around in a frost free greenhouse.

Hi Karen
you are right keeping in the greenhouse over winter and they do keep on flowering .... a very weak seaweed feed every two weeks and apart from that I dont water in-between if not needed and they seem to do well on that I start October.
Keep a eye out for greenfly which I never have when grown in the garden.

I buy them for my Mum, they last up to 10 days in a vase, and such a variety of colours too!
