I grew very early ripening varieties for our short summer Moti.... started cropping in June. So I did ok. But I'm not going to grow tomatoes again...they never taste nice. They taste a lot better in the supermarket than in my greenhouse! :(

They look so good, Motty, I have had a fair few of this variety and 'Alisa', both really good taste. I also grew 'Red Alert' which were thick-skinned and tasteless! All finishd now, removed the Growbags from the Greenhouse yesterday.

They look good and healthy, but not exceptionally tasty to me. I do not mean only yours Motinot, but all the tomatoes you eat here,, regardless whether you grow them or buy them in the supermarket. I only realised the difference when I tasted a tomato in my brother's garden in Cyprus. The climate makes the difference. They need plenty of sun shire. I only grow cherry tomatoes in hanging baskets, as they are the only ones, guaranteed to ripe in any weather. They have now all finished a week ago.

With fresh toms if they are lacking flavour I slice up & sprinkle with just a pinch of sugar & liberal amount of chopped basil.
