Hi Shela: No, they are white in summer, but turn reddish in fall & brown in winter. They will hang on until next spring.

Wow, thanks. Mine are white in summer too, but they're never still on the bush in autumn, so we don't see a colour-change.

Oh im sorry. I really love them in winter when they turn paper brown. They look great against the snow and make a nice indoor winter display. I will take a daytime picture for you.
