I had given up on this one its a nice surprise ,I have eaten the leaves and flowers Paul in salads they have a nice peppery taste ...

Believe it or not I have the same thing here. Mine are dark orange and I chucked last years in the field right under the hedge and they grew in spring from seed and have just started flowering now! Amazing tough little plants! There'll be more next year as I chucked this years in too!

I used to use the seed capsules as capers but my nasturtium were always overtaken by caterpillars so I don't have any now.

How strange is that Karen ,it must be something to do with the weather you'll have lots more next year :o) yes the capers are good to Mari shame about the caterpillars ....
