A few roses from the garden this afternoon.

Even though we had some really deep frosts last week and the beginning of this week, many of the roses are still flowering. I picked one from each.

HB,we moved all but the standard roses, at least six weeks ago, OH cut them back hard, added lots of manure and mycorrhizal

Amy, OH moved all but three standard roses, at least six weeks ago, he cut them right back, added lots of farmyard manure and mycorrhizal to the roots ( we couldn't wait for them to die down, it would have been months here) and they are all shooting again, he will probably prune them again next year, depending on how much growth has been made.....
You have a lovely show still, I can understand you not wanting to move them lol

Wow. Fancy finding so many so late in the year. None in this area of Surrey. Frost finished them off.
