Has been pretty chilly in Surrey too. Thaws out by 2pm & then I go for a walk( about 4 miles). Can't bear to be in all day & must keep fit! Best wishes for 2017 Sheila.

my English great grandpa used to say: "Summer fog will roast a hog... winter fog will freeze a dog" We've been having such extremes lately. Every time I take my camera out to take pictures of nature the batteries go in nothing flat. Don't like the cold. Looking at your picture, it's a pure beauty, isn't it? silvery frost... hoar frost is magical.
