Don't know Waddy but I did split my clumps up last year. It may be the weather adding a factor to it. Although the temperature has been up and down like a yoyo.

Yes, that could be it and we've not really had any prolonged winter weather this year have we? I'm now touching wood!!

I've just dug some snowdrops up to give to a neighbour. We haven't had any lasting snow this year, only a dusting and that didn't last very long.
