They looks gorgeous! I have horrible luck with orchids. I have one that is about to flower. Typically, orchids like these grow outside well in semi-shade.

I worked with a lady who has a lath-house, shad-cloth on the sides and has Phaelanopsis, Dendrobium, Cattleya, Epidendrum, Cymbidiums, Oncidium orchids growing inside. She pretty much neglected them except just a little water once in a while. They were excellent with so many flowers. I was amazed!
My neighbor a few doors down has so many Epidendrum hybrids (white, pink, yellow, red, purple, orange) growing in the ground. They are always in flower and grow to about 6' (2 m) tall.

This is lovely ,I have one in flower but it doesn't have a name tag in the pot its more like your pink one in the background of your photo ... I'm sure its changed colour and shape since it bloomed last year ...
