A lovely sturdy steed, and beautifully groomed too. I started riding about the age of 20 and continued to do so into middle age. I loved the contact with the horses.

Aren't they majestic animals? The stables are in Central Park and I believe they're open to visitors. In college, I was on the Equestrian Team and got to perform in a horse show at Madison Square Garden - the highlight of my college days.

I learned some dressage and did some jumping, but never got into competition. I rode in the countryside and along the beach.

wow, great memories.
