Moon in a basket

An unusual take on something we see most nights.

it was just perfectly framed by the top of the tree: probably half an hour either side of that, or me ten feet to one side or the other ... serendipity.

Well, I say "perfectly framed" - there was a lot of folieage outside the moonglow, some of which can be seen in the photo. But for the moon to be almost perfectly lined up with both the tree and my viewpoint ...

It looks like one of those glass paper weight balls . brilliant Fran :o)

I wonder if I could adapat it for a paper globe lampshade?
