Geranium macrorrhizum 'Ingwersen's variety'

That's pretty, Shirley. My Geraniums have gone all 'flop bot' and leggy. I think I'll have to give them the Chelsea Chop.

This was found on the 'rescue bench' for about £1 ... so pleased it's alive! Definitely would give your Geraniums the chop ... they'll respond well to it.

You've done me a great favour by posting this picture with plant name! Was given a small clump by a friend last year and it just sat there not flowering. However this year it has flowered and I couldn't think of it's name so now you have solved my query. Thank you!

Amsterdam, glad to be of help! I like the foliage on this Geranium, sort of mottled green and brown.

Going to village plant sale tmrow where I usually pick up all sorts of plants, usually without a name on it. So might need everyone's help to identify a few plants. Great place to get a bargain though!

What a shame that your villagers don't always label their plants ... mind you it makes for a good ID competition on here!
