Thalictrum tuberosum & alliums

This is so far removed from other Thalictrum's in the garden only the leave bear a resemblance to the more widely grown varietes

Gorgeous combination love the
Thalictrum tuberosum is it a bulb.

I imagine a tuber although I have potted it on once just after i bought it did not take the root ball apart to find out.
