Very attractive do you grow it as a tree or shrub,don't know a lot about it

Your too kind Andy I think my photos are dreadful my camera isn't very good but thank you ... Its in a large pot at the moment Brian that is until I can plant it in a garden when we move .... they will grow into an 8 ft tree eventually ...

seems there are different varieties some grow very large.

Mine is about 8 foot already, I'm tempted to remove the bottom leaves as the lower branches are a bit like Acer griseum

Lovely Amy.......not the same variety as ours..
Dawn we have removed several of the lower branches, as it is well over 8ft, and we needed the space to grow plants underneath, the bark is very attractive also....

Thanks Dd, I might 'raise the canopy' on mine too.

Will post a pic later on this week......we take some off each year.
