Lamium galeobdolon - "Golden Dead Nettle" For Siris

This has a yellow flower.
Siris, I have L. maculatum somewhere too.

It's making excellent ground cover.

I love how it has hugged the ground! Mine always wants to climb! lol..no idea why.

I have this one too, quite rampant. Always called it Yellow Archangel.

I guess here it's a case of right place right plant. It can spread as much as it likes in the woodland.

Yes Dawn..in fact its so pretty it looks like cyclamen foliage.

Very pretty but I spend a lot of time just trying to get them out especially if I see the slightest sign of a yellow flower. They just take over everything in my garden if you don't keep on top of them and they pop up in the most unlikely places.

Hi Thorney, I know, I've removed mine from the beds as it can become a nuisance and not very attractive when they go scraggly but here in the woodland it's free and looks completely different with nothing to compete with.
