He visits us on a regular basis Dorjac. This was a very windy day and I think he wanted to get out of the wind for a moment. I ran to get the camera and Gerry took this from the window. Thanks Wildrose...we live near to open countryside and so get a lot of different birds visiting the garden.

Thanks HB. This bird flies through our car-port between the back and front gardens...presumably to see if he can catch his prey off guard.

I wonder if anyone saw the 2 young ladies who were training Goshawks on the TV. I wonder if it is the right spelling? I also saw some men on horse back on the tele flying eagles. I think it was Mongolia.
They were flying them to the lure, same as the 2 women.

I saw about the Goshawks Dorjac. I've flown a Buzzard at one of the shows, but only for a moment in time. A wonderful experience to get up close to such a wonderful large bird of prey.

Good catch Lindak. We occasionally get a visit from a hawk. The last time it was a Kestrel. Very windy in Essex today, just right to dry the washing! Been busy in house and garden, as I have to do everything, and be a carer as well, I keep rather busy, so not on GOY so much now.
