I tried that twice now. Once was a winter ice ring like that,and the other was..I forgot. My camera showed nothing. I just leave it on automatic.

Hi Stan..I finally figured out that my camera worked well on the automatic settings. But, I also discovered that the settings worked a second or two later after you might have wanted to shoot the shot. I also have to fool around afterwards because the pic is too light. For some reason, automatic does not exactly read the light correctly. I am picky about a real color as I see it. Might be different as you see it. Keep at it. I have an Apple and only use their photo built in app. Nothing special but helps 100%.
